December with Lisette

Welcome to my post for December.  I always love looking through the Scrapmatts Blog posts and see how everyone's layouts and projects are so different.  I am always in awe of the Design Teams creations!

You will have seen a lot of Christmas projects already this month. I am really not a Christmas Scrapper, so I haven't included a Christmas project!!

My first layout is for Made to Scrap - the Aussie Way Challenge site.  The theme for December is 'It's a Wrap".  I have chosen to do a summary of our family for 2018.  I was lucky enough to get a good family photo a couple of months ago, so it was perfect for this challenge.

As usual I have used Aussie products featuring Scrapmatts of course!

My second layout is a fun one.  For a month or so each time I drove into our garage I was greeted by the lovely yellow roses - it made me happy at the end of my work day.  I love early spring when the roses start to bloom.  I am not much of a gardener, but luckily my husband is!

I hope you have found some inspiration from my layouts.

I wish you all a Happy Christmas (whatever that means to you).  Hope you manage to have a rest over the summer and have time for some creating.  I am certainly looking forward to time with family and friends and hopefully the chance to do some creating.  I have a wonderful supply of Scrapmatts goodies that I have had the chance to play with yet.  Wish me luck!

ITS BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS!!

Hello There,
Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate this occasion! The shops are in full swing now, and perhaps there are some songs we have heard enough of, but hey, it is a lovely time of the year!! I think so anyway!!

So I thought I would get into the Christmas theme and create some cards and a layout! My cards are always simple, and not too bulky as they usually get posted.. so a few layers, and the chipboard and I am done!! hehe!!

Joy and Peace..

 I added the Holly Twig to the flower and it looks like a stamen, and the sentiment is Scrapmatts chipboard words.

I covered the flags with paper and added the alphas to make the word 'JOY' and the Scrapmatts Christmas Tree was colored with glitter pens, and some little birdies and rhinestones were added for decoration!

And my next share is a layout, using a photo of my Daughter from several years ago.. Oh where have the years gone??

The frame around my photo  looks great on any themed page.. It was embossed with white and a touch of red embossing. Ah it wont be long and I will have some more Christmas photos to scrap, and there is plenty of Scrapmatts to use for my creations too!!

December Creations with Tania

Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share some projects I created for this month using lots of gorgeous Scrapmatts goodies! 

First up this month I have a layout.....

"A Perfect Day"

I added texture to my background page using the Damask template with texture paste.  Once dry I added some colour.

I used lots of paper layers and fussy cut flowers on this page and added one of the string star circles to frame my photo.  Finished the page of with a flourish or two tucked into the layers and some Scrap Word titles.

My second share for this month is a couple of Christmas cards.

As you know by now I love to add layers to my cards.  Once I had my paper layers I added some of the white finish Holly chipboard to each.  I used chipboard stars on both cards which I altered with purple glitter and finished of each card with a Christmas sentiment.
