Once Upon A Time...

there existed an AMAZINGLY creative company called SCRAPMATTS who crafted the most beautiful chipboard and stencil designs you have ever seen.

These designs were coveted by scrapbookers, card makers and paper crafters alike. Fortunately Scrapmatts devotion to coming up with divine new products was ABSOLUTE so there was always something new and exciting to play with.

Scrapbookers like myself couldn't keep our hands off the products and along with some beautiful papers made the following projects...

This page is made with Stamperia papers... I then used ink and liquid pearls to colour the chipboards to match.

I Inked first and then added rough globs of liquid pearl colours over this.

I even used the liquid pearls to colour the title with...
this gave it an awesome 3D look.

Chains and Gears
Next I used some of the beautiful 'Limited Edition' papers designed by Michelle Grant to make this grungy male layout.

In this layout I hit everything with very liberal amounts of Inka Gold colours ...
I just adore the brilliant yet grungy look these waxes create on chipboard.

I even used the Inka Gold waxes on the matching stencil...
another fabulous 3D effect.

A VERY SPECIAL CARD

Up Cycling at it's best .... so I found these fathers day cards on sale at K-mart for 10cents each and brought a heap. Now when I want a nice big card I just repurpose the front as I've done here.

No big tricks here ... just beautiful chipboards and some gold ink!

And they all lived happily ever after...
because crafty people are happy people 💗

A couple of cards with Heather

Hi all. This month I thought I'd do a couple of cards, and thought I'd share one of the favourite (other than Scrapmatts) things in my craft room - my copic markers.

On this cute card I used some stencils and distress oxides to create my own background. I have used the barbed wire chipboard to frame the image

Again on this one I have used some stencils and distress oxides for the background and to color the chipboard

The stencils that I have used are:

Handful Of Happiness & Baby Shower Gift Tag by Kim

Hello....hello dearest friends of
Kim here with you to share a couple of things I have created using some gorgeous
SCRAPMATTS PRODUCTS

Firstly, I will share a layout, created using one of the fabulous
Creative Titles
Let me show you....

{ A Handful Of Happiness}
I love this little photo of my gorgeous Daughter-In- Law with her two cheeky little men.
Such a fun little shot!

The second project I put together is a Baby Shower Gift Tag for a very special Mumma-to-be

I made the base of the tag from thick cardboard and I used Prima Flower packaging (The cardboard the flowers come stuck to....if you look at these the basic shapes are fabulous to trace around to create tag shapes.) I then glued some paper to my cut out base, let it dry and cut my tag out.

I then added muslin, the lace flowers, Scrapmatts chipboard, flowers and twine.
As an after thought I added a touch of machine stitching......(Which of course I should have done as one of my first steps!)

Lastly I punch a hole through the top of my tag and added some gorgeous, pretty white ribbon.
