June Creating with Lizzy.

Hello there! My goodness how are we in June already?? I hope this finds you well and enjoying your day!!

I have a layout and a couple of cards to share with you today..I hope you are inspired to get your Scrapmatts out and have some creative time!

I have used a cute photo of my Grandie on my page today and so you can expect flowers and some pink!!

I will start with some closer views..

She certainly does brighten up my day so this was perfect for my layout! I have added some texture to my back ground with the Stencil Circles which I did after adding some sprays of mist.

I have used the Hanging Jewell's chipboard which I cut into various pieces and painted them yellow and added some flower bling pieces to the circles..

I even used the frame that was around the chipboard on my layout and I inked that with a brown ink pad..

A corner feature using two hanging Jewell pieces..

Lots of fussy cut flowers mixed in with the hanging Jewell chipboard...

And I have two cards I would like to share with you.. I used the flower frames from the Montage Creations for the back ground.

I layered them and placed them on my card front.. easy!!
Then it was a matter of decorating the cards and adding a sentiment..

I have used a Signboard chipboard painted white and added a puffy flower some leaves and a sentiment!

I have used a small Ornate Frame and a Sentiment and popped a few flowers in matching color..
All done!!

Creating Embellishments with Scrap...matts.

Welcome

Today I wish to share with you my project for this month.

Introducing my Scrap.....matts Embellishments.

Do you ever have leftover scraps of paper & chipboard words?

Do you struggle with what to do with them?

Or do you trash them or stash them?

I have to admit I tend to trash the paper & stash the chipboard words for other projects.

Recently I stumbled on a picture I found on Instagram using these adorable pins, so I thought I would give it a go.

I am so pleased with how they turned out, super easy to make & just a little cute.

Happy Birthday Card using stencil a for background

I created the background for this card using 2 different green shades of oxide ink. I started with the lighter green all over the card, then I placed ST5004 Stencil Leaf Sprays over the top and blended the darker green through the stencil.

I then inked the Happy Birthday and the Wildflowers and glued them on the card.

Kim's Creations for June, 2020

Hello...hello!

Kim here to share a couple of my creations with you!

I hope you are all well and life is heading in a more normal direction for you and your loved ones!

2020 sure has been a year to remember!

Okay, now onto more creative things!

Firstly I would like to share a sweet Gift Tag I have made.

It is inspired by my eldest daughter, who is expecting her first child.

She has picked a beautiful nature inspired theme for her nursery, soft neutral colours, with pops of leafy greens and it looks amazing!!!

Scrapmatts Products Used

The second project I wish to share is a layout. The layout features a photo of my youngest daughter, Sidney who was doing her Higher School Certificate [2019].

It is a Snap Chat photo of her when she was 3 days out from finishing all of her Year 12 Assignments

It was a very stressful time for her....

For something a little different I used coffee to add a touch of colour to my layout...yep! Just plain old instant coffee. Sometimes it is fun to think outside all the latest sprays & paints.

I have even seen one scrapbooker use peppercorns on her project. She simply stuck them in place and painted them and you know what they looked amazing!!!
