Christmas Magic

 Hi all

This is a belated post for me from last month.

I've started Christmas designs, there are some beautiful Christmas ranges and accessories already, so I couldn't resist.

On the base of this layout I have used one of the new Scrapmatts Doily stencils with texture paste and then have highlighted it with gold wax.

I have then layered lots of torn and fussy cuts pieces from this paper range. It is then finished using the Scrapmatts chipboard which I've used a combination of inks and sprays to give the shabby chic finish.

I had lots of little bits left, so I did some more fussy cutting and lots of layering on this card. The chipboard I've used my copic markers to colour over. And of course Christmas is a good excuse to use extra bling so have finished it with Kindy Glitz.

I hope that you all have as much fun on your Christmas 2020 creating as I've had so far.

September Creating with Lizzy..

Hello there,
For us in Australia it is Spring.. a really lovely time of the year!

For my creating this month I have a layout and a card using some lovely Scrapmatts products!

For my layout I wanted to scrap a photo of my Grand Daughter enjoying a yummy ice cream!
And I was delighted to find some Scrapmatts words that were perfect for this moment!

some closer views.

I have used a pretty stencil using some pink paint mixed into texture paste to add some interest to the back ground of my layout.

I painted the Flourishes in green and cut them in half to suit how I wanted to use them..(That pretty page border is an older Scrapmatts from my stash )

A close up of one of the Scrap Words and the little flowers I colored with a blue ink to add some blue to match the colors in the photo..

my layout..

Humm that ice cream looks good!!
And here is a list of the Scrapmatts that I have used with  a link to the online shop!

I also made a card while I had these papers out..  I like my cards to be simple and relatively flat for easy posting..

a little closer view..

I used a Scrapmatts sentiment and I love how it fits so neatly in the frame..

my card..

I fussy cut the flowers and layered them on the Frame and added some glitter glue for sparkle.. And I love the detail the Federation Corners add to the card too..

and the Scrapmatts I have used for my card..

Charming Layout By Crece T

Hello Crafters, hope you have been able to be creative. Today I am sharing a layout I created of My youngest Son, Fletch from his Primary School Graduation.

Charming Layout

Here are some Close Ups....

I used stencil 9003 Circles in A4 with some texture paste to create some interest on the background.

I used Black Gesso to cover the layered heart and then used coloured waxes to add some colour, I love this technique as it gives it a real vintage feel.

I also used words from CB1189 Scrapwords 01

Other Chipboard used on this layout include

For this layout I have used 2 Scrapmatts stencils. The Block stencil and also one of the Mandala Stencils. Making sure to dry with a heat tool before adding or flipping your second stencil, otherwise as I am sure you realize it gets rather messy!
