Scrapmatts projects and tag tutorial

Hi there! I'd like to share a few works I've made with Scrapmatts chipboards, and a small tutorial for altering your chipboard tags

First I made a romantic layout. I was looking forward to using the border chippie (CB2004 Page Borders 03) and I thought it was the perfect picture for it. I gave it a coat of gesso, painted it with white acrylic paint and embossed a script stamp with clear embossing powder. Finally, I painted it again with twinkling h2o, leaving the embossed areas white.

Here I used CB2004 Page Borders 03,CB5112 Hanging Hearts 01 ,CB1107 Clocks 08,CH064 Keys #3, CB4061 Assorted Words 17, CB1220 Ornate Frames 22

I also altered the gorgeous Mini Tray (CB6094 Mini Tray Stamp 01). It's so tiny and cute! I used some sewing themed chiboards to decorate it, it's going to be a gift form my mother and she likes sewing and knitting.

I used CB6094 Mini Tray Stamp 01, CB1194 Sewing 02,CB1168 Assorted Words 10

Finally, I altered two chipboard tags. I had so much fun making my backgrounds!!

I used CB3008 Tags 04, CB3007 Tags 03, CB4006 Frames 01, CB4063 Leaf Spray 13

Also, I'd like to share a quick tutorial of how I made the background of the second tag.
First I painted my tag with gesso, I applied two coats.

Then I covered it with Gelatos in different colors

I blended the colors

I used a mask and covered it with acrylic glaze. You can use gel medium too.

Covered it again with another color

Then I wiped the excess of paint

And this is how it turned out!

I added a few splats of color with a homemade mist, and I was done!!
