November Layout and Thank You Card

Hi everyone, Lisette with you today.

I created this Layout as my Design Team submission for last months123 Challenge Blog.  I love this colour combo and love this photo of my gorgeous daughter.

As usual I started with a stencil - ST1031

I painted & inked the lovely chipboard pieces
CB4069 Ornate Frames 26
CB6104 Assorted Words 21
CB1192 Scrap Words 04
CB1158 Butterflies 20
CB1159 Hearts 05
CB5166 Leafspray 15
CB1151 Leaves 03

I then created a cluster with flowers, a flair & a button, as well as the chipboard leaf and leafspray.  Until you look closely you don't realise the green leave is chipboard.  I have added the words to the cluster and finished off with the heart.

This is such a bright and happy layout - just like my girl!

I also created this quick Thank You card.

Again I started with a stencil - ST 5049 Lattice.

I then added the Thank You CB6102 Assorted Words 21, and then, added a flourish from the CB4069 Ornate Frames 26, pack.  One of the many flourishes that come in the same pack as the frame around the photo in the layout above.
I heat embossed both the Thank You and the flourish.

I hope my layout and card have inspired you in different
ways to use Scrapmatts Stencils and Chipboard.

Until next month,
Happy creating
Lisette xo

November creating with Helen - A Baby Boy's layout and a Christmas card/box

Hello and welcome back to Scrapmatts.
It's Helen with you today.

First I'm sharing a layout featuring a photo of one of my Grandsons
who is now almost seven.  The years have flown by.
To begin, I used a Scrapmatts brick stencil on the back ground - ST9024 A5
I've used a Crate Paper collection, "Cool kid"
The chipboard circle was painted with Tim Holtz Ozide, "Fossilized amber"
CB 5140 String Circles 04
The title is from CB6113 Scrap Words 32
The Gears were already painted black, CB1072

The sketch which inspired my page is by Laura Whitaker - thank you Laura.

Next up is a Christmas easel card with a drawer, which holds a few chocolates.
I think it would make a lovely Teacher's gift at the end of the year.
The chipboard garland was painted with Twinkling H2O's
CB5164 Holly 05
The chipboard pieces were embossed in gold, they are:-
CB6111 Assorted Words 27
CB6081 Christmas Stars 02
CB1229 Chains 02
I used Nuvo Mousse through a stencil to create additional stars

Christmas Scene Baubles - By Crece T

Hello everyone, Crece here with you today to share my latest Scrapmatts creations.
With Christmas just around the corner I decided to create some cute baubles to decorate the tree this year.

Peace Bauble

I painted the bauble with a pearl white and the inside with a soft blue.
I then used CB1225 Pine Sprig 01 to make into pine trees for the scene. I inked them with green ink then added some fluffy white paint to make it look like snow.
CB1094 Reindeers 02 were used amounst the trees. They were painted with light and brown paint and gold for the antlers
To finish the bauble I added a Snowflake from CB1182 Snowflakes 05, I painted it silver along with the word PEACE from CB6111 Assorted Words 27

And here is a close up.

Believe Bauble

I painted the bauble with a dark midnight blue inside and out. I put silver glitter around the outer side of the bauble.
I then used CB1223 Stars 03
and painted them silver then stuck them scattered into the bauble.
I then used CB1105 Santa with Reindeers 01, I painted them and used hot glue to attach it to either side of the bauble to make it look like santa and his reindeer are flying.

To finish the bauble I painted The word BELIEVE from CB6111 Assorted Words 27 in Silver

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to look, make sure you check out the rest of the design teams work for the month of November to get some inspiring ideas for your projects.

projects by Elena Smoktunova

 Hello friends!
Today I will show you two projects, one of them is the layout for the blog CSI and a beautiful gentle card. I have made all this as a gift! I hope him it will be pleasant!

In the first project there is a lot of wonderful chipboard, I have painted it with silk paint. And small hints: there are both leaves, and musical elements, handmade flowers.
Here I also left the place for a photo.

And beautiful gentle card. There is a wonderful chipboard, I left him crude, didn't paint. It will also be an excellent gift and will please with the beauty and tenderness!
I did a similar card last month.

                                                                                 I used:

                                                     CB4070 String Circles 06 Roses

                                                                CB1232 Film Strips 05

                           CB5118 Doorway 01
