Cards using the SOON TO BE RELEASED Step Card Templates - By Crece T

Hello Crafty Friends, Crece here with you today to share with you an amazing new product line Andrew and Sofie have been working on.
They are Step Card Templates! And they make it so easy to create 4 different styles of step cards.

Below are the finished cards I have created using the Templates, read on further to see more details.

Here are the Templates, these will be sold individually and will be available online real soon!

Sea Side Happy Birthday Card

This card was made using the 'Side Step Card' Template ST4008
Scrapmatts Chipboard used on this card comes from CB1221 Nautical Designs 04
http://papertoleaustralia.com/cb1221-nautical-designs-04

To use the template its really simple, all you need is some cardstock, a template and a Stylus tool (you can use a lead pencil but this can be a little messy to rub out later)
  1. Cut your cardstock to measure the template.
  2. Then using your stylus simply run through the lines to leave a mark.
  3. Remove template and you should see the indentations you have just made.
  4. Follow the guide on the template to indicate if its a CUTTING line, a MOUNTAIN fold line, or a VALLEY fold line.
  5. And there you have it, your very own simple Step Up Card!

These cards were created using the 'Centre Step Card' ST4007

Scrapmatts Chipboard used on the Male card is CB1072 Gears 01, CB1229 Chains 02, CB6112 Scrap Words 31. The Clock charm comes from CH031 Assorted Charms #1

The Scrapmatts chipboard used on the Vintage Female designed card is  CB6102 Assorted Words 21 and CB6092 Ornate Frame 20

This cute little New Home card I created was made using the 'Middle Step Card 'Design A"' ST4009

I have used a few different Chipboard pieces on this card, they include CB6113 Scrap Words 32, CB1158 Butterflies 20, CB2026 Picket Fences 09, CB1146 Leaf Spray 01, CB1017 Keys 01 and CB5121 Houses 01

The last card Im sharing with you is this fun bright pink Unicorn Birthday card and the Template used was 'Middle Step Card 'Design B"' ST4010

I wanted to create a bright and fun card and thought creating a banner would be perfect! So I used 5 of CB5103 Flags 03 and covered them in different washi tapes and then thread them onto some bakers twine.

Thanks for stopping by for a look.

January Crafting with Christine

Happy 2018 Scrapmatts friends!  This month I've created a page and a tag with Scrapmatts goodies.  First up is a chipboard tag:

Scrapmatts materials: Large Chipboard Tag, ST1021 String Stencil

I painted the large chipboard tag and then layered some mediums.  For background texture I stenciled some paste through the String Stencil and worked from there until the chipboard tag is finished.

Next is a layout which I thoroughly enjoyed creating:

Scrapmatts materials: CB2023 Roses 01, Stencil 9002 Hexagons

Starting with a white cardstock, I painted different colors and then stenciled different hexagon sizes from the new Hexagon Stencil Set.  I then adhered the Roses chipboard beside the photo and built the cluster from there and viola!

Thanks for popping in and I hope you've been enjoying some awesome Scrapmatts inspiration from the team.  Enjoy the rest of your month and I'll be back for more Scrapmatts creating next month.

Check out all the yummy Scrapmatts range HERE.

Cheers,

Keepsakes & Traditions

Hi, Fi here today, sharing with you a KeepSakes Cylinder and Christmas Traditions page.

I don't know about everyone else, but I hate throwing away perfectly good packaging.  Not getting into the whole environment thingy but just the fact the packaging is so well made to keep those pesky thieves out.  My daughter purchased a new boom box on Boxing Day and I couldn't believe the strength in the packaging.  So I thought why not upcycle it and turn it into a Keepsake holder.

As you can see I've used a few different Scrapmatts Chippies as well as some templates.
How many chipboard's can you find?

One of my favourite, Scrapmats chipboards are these little engraved tag/words.  I have gone through packets of these.  They look great with just a little inked edged or when you give then a coating like I've done here.

I also wanted to create a page, journalling our Christmas Traditions, we had a quiet Christmas this years as all our families are in other states.  However know matter where everyone is this is always what we do in our immediate family.

For the background I've used the Doily template along with a crackle medium, I have also used the Scrapmatts Christmas Tree & Baubles, which I must say a super cute.

From the closeups you can see that I have given all of the chippies some sort of mixed media coating.

Products Used:

I hope you enjoyed this months share.  If you are interested in any of the products I have linked all the product pics to the the website.

Thanks for stopping by.
