April Creating with Lizzy!

Hello there,
I hope you are having a great day! I am popping up my Scrapmatts creating for this month..  I hope I can inspire you in your Scrapmatts crafting!!

I would like to share a layout firstly that I created using some fabulously funky chipboard pieces..

I fell in love with the Layered Heart set when I first saw it.. and I thought "How cool would it look with the Theme Pack?" (Don't worry I will put up the details of these chipboard packs and a link to the shop for you..)

I wanted to have paper on the back ground of the hearts so I traced around the edges of the chipboard and cut out the hearts..

Oh I colored the Heart chipboard with ink pads using a pink and a brown patting the ink pad on the chipboard until I was happy with the color..

This is what the layers look like before I put them on my layout..

and here is a closer view of the larger heart on my layout..

I have used a lovely Chipboard word from the Scrap Words 06 for my title..

I also colored the Theme Chipboard the same way for a soft pinky/browny color!

And my layout..

I think these two packs of Chipboard go together so well.. Just love the trendy feel they add to my page!!

And here are the details of the Chipboard for you to find in the SCRAPMATTS STORE!!

CB5188 Theme Pack 01

And I would like to share a card I have created using some lovely Scrapmatts Chipboard pieces..

This closer view shows the Window Frame which I colored with a brown ink pad and the Sea Grass which adds a different feel to my flower cluster.. The Sea Grass I colored with a green gel pen.. (I love how easy Scrapmatts are to add color, You can use lots of different elements to color the Chipboard. Gesso, paint, ink pads, water colors, and gel pens!)

and my card..

The flowers are a stamp that I fussy cut out and layered.. The Scrap Words are so handy to pop on a card too..

Thanks so much for dropping by, I hope you have been inspired to use your Scrapmatts in creative ways!

Until next time, Happy Scrapmatting!!

Love this Moment

Love this Moment

Hoppy Easter Everyone!!!

Hello and Welcome to my DT share with you today.
Love this Moment.

For this layout I have used the Circles chipboard to add feature.
I love these circles and they reminded me of Mickey's Ears!!
So they were perfect to add to this Disney layout.

Cards & Tags - ByCrece T

Good Friday everyone, Crece here with you today to share some cards and tags I have created using some wonderful Scrapmatts products.

Cards & Tags

Here are close ups of each individual card and tag with a breakdown of all Scrapmatts products used:

Birthday Wishes Card

I used some old box I had lying around and ripped off the top layer to reveal the corrugated cardboard underneath as the base for the card.
I then distressed the edges of some patterned paper and inked the edges with brown ink.
CB5178 - Wildfloers 05 is the frame I used for this card. I covered it with Stampendous Frantage Aged Marine Embossing Enamel. I then used co-coordinating patterned papers under the 3 flowers on the chipboard.

I used the word 'Birthday' from CB6100 Words 29 and 'Wishes' from CB6102 Assorted Words 21 and coloured it using Stampendous Deep Impressions Chunky Silver Embossing Enamel.
The greeting looked a little lost on the background so I added some dark blue patterned paper under it, distressed the edges and added a fish tale.
A little die cut butterfly from the paper collection and the card was done.

Thinking of you card

Again with this card, I used some old box I had lying around and ripped off the top layer to reveal the corrugated cardboard underneath as the base for the card.I then distressed some blue patterned paper and inked the edges with brown ink, and then adhered it to the corrugated cardboard.
I used the larger frame from CB6093 - Ornate Frames 21 and coloured it using Stampendous Frantage Aged Marine Embossing Enamell. I then added some patterned paper under the inner frame.
I used the larger flourish from CB1001 - Flourishes 02 and coloured it using Stampendous Deep Impressions Chunky Silver Embossing Enamel. I then cut it in half and put one half under the left side of the heart die cut and the other half to the right side.
I then added the 'Thinking of you' die cut from the paper collection and a butterfly.
To finish it off I added some crystal glass shards onto the 3 hearts.

Go for your Dreams Tag

The base of this tag was made using the corrugated Scrapmatts shapes.
I used some book paper and using a sewing machine ran a stitch around the border. I then inked the edges in brown ink.
I used the smaller clock face from CB5053 - Clock faces 01 and coloured it using Stampendous Deep Impressions Chunky Silver Embossing Enamel. I then attached some darker blue paper to the back of the center circle of the chipboard clock face. I added the stickers 'Go for your dreams' and added the butterfly die cuts.
I then attached the word 'Imagine' from CB1199 Scrapwords 07
with a little white flower and added some sparkle using some crystal glass shards.
finished it off with a ribbon tied to the top of the tag.

The base to this tag was the same as the last - using the corrugated Scrapmatts shapes.
Again I used some book paper and using a sewing machine ran a stitch around the border. I then inked the edges in brown ink.
I used the smaller frame from CB6093 - Ornate Frames 21 and coloured it using Stampendous Frantage Aged Marine Embossing Enamel.
I then wrapped some white wire into a circle to make a 'frame' for the butterfly die cut.
The tag needed a little something more, so i added a little fish tale bunting to the bottom of the frame with some blue patterned paper.
I added the word 'Discover' from CB1199 Scrapwords 07 and added a little white rose.
A little bit of sparkle was added using some crystal glass shards.
finished it off with a ribbon tied to the top of the tag.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter. Check back here soon to see some more creations by our wonderful Scrapmatts Design Team.

Calling all Craft Hoarders

Good morning and welcome my fellow crafters!

I hope you are all well, I know at the moment we can't get away from COVID-19 but how about we all just take a couple of breaths and just appreciate what we do have at the moment.   Us crafters have been preparing for this for years, just look around the craft room.  We've been hoarding for so long we thought this day would never come....  Well its here!!!  Time to now sit down and get our craft on and I look forward to seeing facebook and blogs filled with crafting.

Today I have a couple of layouts to share with you.

To create this I have combined some very old papers along with the new Prima Country Christmas range and the Tim Holtz Christmas tissue paper.

I have embossed the word Peace with silver then used some Prima wax to blend it more with the colours of my page.

Love these Christmas baubles they are great for tucking in behind your layering.

Next up I have another layout again using some really old papers in my stash, I hope this encourages others to utilise what they do have as I know times are going to be tough for a lot of us.

I used the lighthouse from the Nautical Design 01, rubbed some Prima wax on it after I inked it, was happy with the effect.

Well thank you for joining me today, I hope these pages inspired you to look through your stash.
Take Care!!
