Kim here with you to share 2 projects created using some fabulous products from

SCRAPMATTS!

Firstly I would like to share a layout with you.

This captures those precious moments as you leave the hospital with a newborn baby.

Exciting, nervous moments as you embark on your journey as new parents.

 My next project is a gift tag!

I love creating these

 (if you haven't already noticed...haha!)

And how can you go wrong with pink flowers and butterflies!??

 I always use thick cardboard from Officeworks for my base

Scrapmatts does stock tag bases

(look HERE!)

I love big oversized tags so I generally make my own.

Cover your base with pretty paper, build a few layers, add lace muslin/cheesecloth,

flowers, ribbon and beautiful chipboard and there you have it a pretty tag to top that special gift!!!

Summer Scrapping and Card Making

I can almost taste summer in the air now! 

Here in Australia the weather is warming up and we are coming out of the wettest winter I can remember. Every time I sit down now to scrapbook or make cards, I must confess I just have summer on my mind lol 😊 

So here are the projects I'm sharing this month - 

all bright and reminiscent of warmer weather and long lazy summer days 💛

 💛 This Moment

Created with papers from Bee Arty's Limited Edition collection and 

Scrapmatts Chipboards, Stencils, titles and Bling.

I have coloured this title (CT058) with a black sharpie and a yellow distress marker 

These Scrap Words 21(CB 6103) can be easily added to any layout, bringing context and meaning without the worry of having to add actual journaling.

This awesome Webbing Stencil (ST5029) creates a gorgeous effect on the page.

.   

The trick is to put the stencil on the page and build up lines using ink that is a similar colour to your base paper (in this case it was blue) after that add a darker colour over the top that runs to the edge so that you achieve a striking transition of the stencil image.

  

This Diamond Mesh 02 (CB5126) & 03 (CB5127) chipboard was the perfect shade to begin with so I left it alone for this layout 👍

To include a touch of movement to this layout I added these gorgeous Flourishes and Leaves Chipboards (CB5189), that I painted in blue and hit with Crystalina Kindy Glitz.

This layout also includes the following hero products:

The addition of that marvellous and versatile little Heart Stencil - ST9050

🧡 Unicorn Step-card 🧡

Of course you cannot go wrong with the addition of clusters of bling on any project!

 For this card I used 4 & 5 mm Peal and Stick Bling

  

I also added extra action with the ST9071 - A5 Circles Stencil

And of course a chippy from one of my favourite 

scrap word title sets: CB1270 - Scrap Words 5
