Today I'm here to share with you a layout of my daughter and a canvas I have created.

I've been on my daughters Instagram account pinching photos, I love this one of her asit captures her fun hippy personality perfectly.  Working with that, I wanted to create a page that reflected that fun side , using the gorgeous feathers from Scrapmatts I think it came together beautifully. 

 

 

Scrapmats feathers used are the jumbo size ones.

I have used the Scrapmatts words and these adorable little skeleton leaves which I have embossed with gold powder to give them a metal like look.

Shadow Box & Layout

A bit late, but hey it is still the 16th!

 

I met the lovely Sofie and Andrew at the Paper & Craft Show at Penrith last month.  Sofie gave me a challenge to use a shadow box (1E).  This is not something I generally do but I had lots of fun putting this together so will probably do more of them.  

 I really didn't want to use orange as my background as

 that seems to be go to colour at the moment, but it fitted (and it's nice and bright).

I then used a couple of stencils ST5011 circles with yellow paint & ST1019 flannel flower with 

texture paste but unfortunately you can't see it very well in the photo.

I then went to town with Scrapmatts Chipboard and some flowers.

I have used Brilliance Inks to colour the chipboard (except Together) to blend them into the layout.  I used Platinum Planet (arrow & Us), Lime (ornate toppers & leaves) & Rocket Red Gold (flourishes)

 

I completed this layout for a challenge, but forgot to enter it!

I love the retro squares stencil (ST5020) and chipboard (CB5142) so I used both on this layout.

Memories and Love Layouts by Amy

HELLO!!!

Amy Here, and its the 15th so its my turn to share.

This month I used CB6113

and CB1201

Here is my layout 'Memories'

 I have used my left overs from the Men's Accessories chipboard sayings for little embellishments in my gatherings.

 I have give a bit of Dimensional Magic for my title so that it doesn't get completely lost in the page.

This photo is of a busy, messy boy and only a busy layout was going to do it justice.

So I hope you enjoyed that layout because here is another

I thought I would throw you a girly layout. I don't get to play with girly layouts often so it is still what I consider not my comfort zone.

This layout I have used CB6105 and some Tim Holtz Pewter Spray

Here is my layout called Love,

I really loved playing with these chipboard sayings.

I had to drench it in the spray to get this pewter look. I may have even got some spray on my laptop hehe.

I have use 3d Adhesive Foam to give a bit of dimension to a mostly flat layout.

So I hope you love it

I hope your day is going well!

I have a couple of creations to share with you today using some fabulous SCRAPMATTS products!

Firstly I have created a sweet little card.

I have used the smaller frame from CB6093 Ornate Frames 21 , a sweet little Bench from CB1167 Benches 01 and I had to pop 2 little birdies from CB6072 Bird Bath 01. I added some ric rac and  fussy cut flowers to finish off my card.

And I have created a textured grungy layout using some Scrapmatts chipboard for dimension.

I placed my photo on my layout to give a idea of where I wanted it to go and then glued down my chipboard pieces. I lightly covered the area with gesso.
 I have used the larger piece from CB2005 Page Borders 04 down the side of my page, some fabulous
CB5129 Circle Mesh 02 which I have cut into various shaped pieces, and also some arrows from CB6105 Assorted Words 23  .

I then added my grey water color paint which picked up the dimension from the chipboard pieces.

I added some stamping, some die cuts, flowers and my photo to create my girly grunge layout!

I love the texture from those fabulous Scrapmatts chipboard pieces!

You and me makes me Happy - Scrapmatts May projects

Welcome to my May Scrapmatts projects.

They are both created with soft, feminine colours 

which I enjoy working with. The paper is from Prima.

I thought the ornate frames were perfect for the shabby chic style of the page. They were not quite the right size for my photos, 

so I trimmed off the sides and just used the tops.  

The Metal Filligree corners tied in with the soft gold of the heart sprays

and I used black texture paste through the Stencil Bubbles to enhance the title. 

The heart sprays are perfect for tucking into clusters to soften the edges.

JOURNALLING - on the back of the page.

These three photos show how quickly your expressions change and how happy you are to have your photo taken - as long as I’m quick about it!   After all there is lots of crafting, bike riding, gardening and mud play to grab your attention.  Like a little honey eater, you flit from one activity to another, eager to slurp the essence out of every experience.  We love your company, your sunny nature and your quirky sense of humour.

The words were left untreated.

Good day.  A new month means new creations & today I'm posting a layout & a tag for Scrapmatts.  Let's start with a layout:

 

Scrapmatts Chipboards: Stars Strings Circles (CB5138), Film Strips (CB1232), Assorted Words (CB6106), Scrap Words (CB6112)

Scrapmatts Stencil: Circles (ST5006)

 

 

I've used the left over/scrap pieces of the Stars String Circles as is.  These raw chipboards have a beautiful shade & gray speckles on them hence why I decided not to alter them.  The "happy" Assorted Word Chipboard was inked with white Brilliance Inkpad & looks great against the raw chipboard.

 

 

In here you'll see my favourite Scrapmatts Circles Stencil, some in gold & some in white shades. 

The Film Strips have been inked black to match the other film strip elements of the page.   The "laughter" Scrap Words has a beautiful black shade which complements the film strips.

Scrapmatts Chipboard Tags come in a good size & is fun to create with.  At just under 6"x4", it's not too big or too tiny & is perfect for crafting.  I've applied some texture paste through Scrapmatts' Cobblestones Stencil, another one of my favourites. 

 

 

I've embossed & cut up the Ornate Frames Chipboard to help frame the mermaid & enhance the edges of the tag.
