APRIL CREATING WITH SCRAPMATTS..

Hello there,
Here we are into April already.. I hope you had a lovely Easter break, catching up with family or things around the home or whatever fills your day!

I have a couple of cards and a layout of a very special little person in my life to share with you today.. So which should I share first??? humm.... Oh I think the layout!! In February, I became a Grandma, so I have lots of special photos to scrap of my darling little Grand daughter.. So I thought I would use some baby themed SCRAPMATTS Chipboard on my page.. You can check out the BABY AND CHILDREN section at the ONLINE SHOP HERE!!!!

So just sharing some closer views.

I just had to use this gorgeous Baby Pram which I have firstly gessoed, then painted with a soft peachy color water color paint, and added some beaded trim and a touch of lace. I have also lightly stenciled some hearts on the back ground with a dauber and pink stamping ink..

I have colored the "Hello" word the same as the Pram.. and can you see the cute little ladybird pin? such a sweet little chipboard embellishment!!

And I have placed my adorable photo inside this lovely swirl frame and ran a string of Kaisercraft Rhinestones around the centre for some sparkle.. and there is another little butterfly pin chipboard!!

This photo was taken when my Grand Daughter was only a few hours old... I think she is oh so beautiful!!

And I have a couple of cards I have made using some SCRAPMATTS on them.... now look away if you are not wanting to even think about Christmas yet, as I have made two cards for this occasion which just seems to come around wayyyy too quickly each year... so I am just trying to get myself organized.. (cough cough)!!
I like simple when it comes to cards so these can be whipped up in a few minutes!!

The first one I have had a play with the MERRY CHRISTMAS STENCIL on some white cardstock covered with green paint and I cut out a piece for the front of my card..Used some dies and popped on some chipboard for the sentiment and it was done!!

And the second card is just as simple using a Christmas tree chipboard coated in a glitter paint and decorated with sequins, some hand made flowers and leaves using dies, and a Scrapmatts sentiment!!

April Creations with Tania.......

Hi there!

Tania joining you today to share a couple of layouts I created for this month!!

For my first page I have used the new Wildflowers Collection. Absolutely love this range and will definitely be adding more to my stash!! I have altered the chipboard pieces by using Viva Inka-Gold Silver and Gold paint on them. I also used a stencil on my background page and added some sprays to parts of the stencil to highlight the brick pattern.

On my second layout I used the gorgeous damask stencil on the background page. Added a couple of page borders painted with Gesso and used some of the white finish Chains and a Title.

Canvas art - Crece T

Hello everyone, Crece here with you today. I hope you have all had a fantastic Easter, The Easter Bunny had a quick visit to my place and left me some yummy chocolate.

Today I'm sharing a mixed media canvas I created using Scrapmatts chipboard pieces and stencil.

A Farewell Post by Christine

Hello lovely Scrapmatts followers. Before I get hitched in two days time, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Sofie for my time here with the Scrapmatts team. This will be my last Scrapmatts post and I had thouroughly enjoyed creating with all of the gorgeous range of Scrapmatts chipboards and stencils.

I have saved the best for last with three different projects. First up is a layout:

Scrapmatts Chipboard: CB4071 String Circles 07

Scrapmatts Stencils: ST1038 Square, ST5001 Bubbles

This is one of my all time favourite photo of my girls, niece and nephew. The largest piece of the String Circles chipboard set perfectly frames and features the photo. For the background, I used the Grid and Bubbles stencils.

Second is a mixed media canvas:

I stenciled some texture paste through the canvas for the background and framed the cluster with the gorgeous Rose String Circles chipboard.

Last but not the least is an off the page project which I specifically created for my wedding:

This is a beer box which I turned to a wishing well. I couldn't find any wishing well that suits my taste and so I made one especially for the special day...only two more days to go! All this needed was a touch of Scrapmatts stenciling and voila!

A massive thanks again to Sofie...for believeing in my work and for making me a part of this lovely team. I would also like to thank everyone who have left lovely comments on the blog, I appreciate every single one of them.

Hello friends!

Today I will show you three summer flower project.! Very tired of winter, snow and cold! All really looking forward to spring, warmth, green trees and sunshine! That's why I made these brilliant works! Let's take a closer look.

The first project is a bright summer multi-layered floral frame, very unusual.

There are a lot of my favorite chipboard, lots of flowers, and that is remarkable unusual shape!

The following projects are two beautiful cards, especially for ladies. They can be presented and Birthday, and for any occasion! Beautiful half of humanity will be very pleased.
