FRAMED XMAS

Framed Xmas

Good Morning
Today I am sharing my Framed Xmas project with you.

This project was inspired by our very own Sophie.
I seen her version on display at the Scrapmatts stand and just loved it, so I wanted to do my version of it.

Here are a few pictures of the frame.

I have left most of the chipboard pieces raw, but to add some colour on some of the pieces I have used some fine tipped markers.

The papers used are Letters to Santa from Kaisercraft.
To colour the snowflake I have used the Picket Fence Distress Paint Dabber.

For the scallop frame pieces, I punched the edges with the EK Tools Dotted Scallop Punch.

The glitter on the chipboard and frame was added with a Zig Stella Glitter Brush.
Flower and pearl brads are from my stash.
Ribbon from Kaszazz.

Here is a list of the products used which you can find in the store.

"Do I Look Like Him?"

 Do I Look Like Him?

Wow it's August already!!!
This month has been a treat. I was able to spend a fantastic weekend with the beautiful Sofie and Andrew at the Craft Fair in Perth on the weekend of 3rd - 5th August.

I was able to spend time with the very talented Rikki and teach some card classes.

So this month I have a layout to share with you featuring Scrapmatts amazing chipboard.

For this layout I have used the Denim and Friends papers from Maja.
The photo is of my husband and his father. His dad had a stroke back in March and my husband hadn't seen him in 15yrs. So I hadn't met him or seen him before. So recently he has reconciled with his dad and we have spent some time with him. I had always thought he looked like his mum, man was I mistaken!!! He is definitely a chip off the old block!!!

This really is the Silly Season!!!

This really is the Silly Season!!!

Hello and Welcome to my last post for 2017
Are you ready for the Silly Season???
I have a few more things to do but almost done.

Today I would like to share with you my December DT - Love Family Moments

This layout features the gorgeous String Circle Holly
This pack contains 14 pieces of chipboard.
I have used "Letters to Santa" paper from Kaisercraft.

This chipboard was perfect for framing my picture.
My daughter is queen of the selfies, so this is a family tradition on Christmas Day.
I just love it.
She also gets her step Dad to smile.
 (he is our Grinch)

To colour the chipboard I have used my AIAM's (Alcohol Markers) from Kaszazz.
The Christmas word is also from this set and I have left it white.
I have used Postbox Red Spray from Dylusions to flick on the background.

All the chipboard for this project can be found on the Scrapmatts website.

For my second project I have used the hanging stars and the holly chipboard
to create this jar topper.

Again to colour the holly I have used the alcohol markers and to colour the stars and word I have used Silver and Gold Ink from Versa.

This was the finished topper.
I added it to a clear jar found at Kmart and filled it with Christmas Lollies and will decorate the jar.

Here is a list of the products used

I hope you have enjoyed all the designs I have bought you this year and you have found a little inspiration to give them a go.
Thank you all for supporting Australian business.
So from my family to yours

Until next year

Chalk it Up In July

Chalk it Up

Hello and Welcome to July

Today I'm on the blog to share with you my DT projects for the month.

First up I have a Chalkboard that I have decorated with Scrapmatts Chipboard.

This chalkboard can be found in Kmart for the grand total of $5.00. What a Bargain!!!

This is the first side of the board.

Here I have attached the Scrapmatts butterfly and to decorate I have added some Kaisercraft Pearls and covered in glossy accents.

This is the other side of the board.

On this side I have added another butterfly.
The chipboard vine behind the flowers are also from Scrapmatts.

 Close up of Butterfly

 Close up of the vine.

If you would like to recreate this chalkboard, then these are the products from Scrapmatts used

For the next project I have made a 4x6 canvas art.

To add texture to the base, I have used the Cobblestone stencil and then used some snow paste.

I coloured the canvas with mini distress ink Mowed Lawn.

The vines are coloured with Brilliance Gold Ink.

These very cute words are from the Scrapmatts Scrap Words.

This little charm is also from Scrapmatts.

All flowers used in these projects are from 49 and Market.
To add the sparkle to the canvas, I have used the sparkle pen from Close to my Heart.

Here is a list of the Scrapmatts products used
