Welcome Aboard

Hello and welcome again.
Today I would like to share with you my take on the CSI Challenge Case 258. for July.
Submissions need to be submitted by July 31st.

 CSI Challenge Case 258

My inspiration for this challenge was this clock I found on one of my shopping trips to the Salvo's.

I was inspired by the Scene.
This clock reminded me of our recent cruise.

I decided to turn it into a photo frame.
The photo matt is actually a sick bag from my scavenger hunt for our scrapbook challenges.
It is attached in place with the nautical paperclips, so that it can be removed and then used as a clock.

All the chipboard used is available from Scrapmatts.
I have also used some twine, shells and starfish (old hanger) and some art stones.

Hello Adventure Nautical Layouts

Hello Adventure
Nautical Layouts

Good Morning and welcome to May
Today I will be sharing with you layouts I have completed from my recent trip to the South Pacific with Melissa Kennedy.

This layout was inspired by a Bingo challenge that Melissa handed out, as well as a scavenger hunt challenge.
Items collected are shells from the beach, embellishment bought onboard (chipboard) and picture of the ship (in the background of the photo).

I have used the beautiful BEACH SHACK COLLECTION from Kaisercraft.

I have used the CB1221 Nautical Designs from Scrapmatts.
I have also used the very new - CT008 - Hello Adventure Word

I decided not to colour the chipboard, as I like the look of the natural colour with this layout.
This is the chipboard used on the layout. CB1221.

**********************

This layout is the second one I have created using the left overs from the Beach Shack Collection.

This layout is for our scavenger hunt challenge.
On this one the items used are the shore collection guide, shells found on the beach and a doily.

Chipboard used on this layout again is the CB1221 and the word is a new product CT009.

If you wish to purchase any of this chippy head over to the website.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out all the other fabulous designs from our amazing design team and please welcome our newest members by showing a little love.

Until next month

Ahoy There

 Ahoy There Me Hearties!!!

Wow I can't believe that we are in November already. This year really has gone way too quickly.
I hope your Christmas plans are coming together....mine haven't even started!!

I have had time to do a little scrapbooking and this is my latest project that I would like to share with you all.

This layout features photo's from a cruise my husband and I took last year through South East Asia with Princess Cruises.

The wheel was the perfect frame for our photo.
I have also used the CB6095 - Assorted Words 18.

With these clusters of collectables I have used the CB6071 - Assorted Words 07 for the titles.

The lighthouse, compass, life ring and steering wheel (sorry don't know the technical term) are from the CB4059 - Nautical Designs 03 set.

To create this look on the background I have used the ST1016 - Tyre Track Stencil.

These are the chipboard pieces I have used on my layout.

Thanks for stopping by and please take a look at the other wonderful projects from the design team.

You can find all this wonderful chipboard at www.scrapmatts.com.au

July with Amy

Hello My Scrapmatts Friends,

Amy Here, I have been looking forward to showing you my scrapmatts creations for you.

LETS start with Colour Inspire Story Challenge Blog CASE Number 202

For this layout I have used CB5155
Here is Winter
I cut this chipboard into two pieces and painted it with some colourblast paste and sponged gesso over the top to lighten the colour

The next layout I have called Forever in the Sun.
I have used CB4067
 And ST1035
Materials - Colour Blast shimmer powders and pastes, Tim Holtz Distressed Crayons, Scrapmatts and Cocoa Vanilla Studio
Let me show you some details
Using the Stencil I used some texture paste around the frame of this layout and painted with Distressed Crayons and water
I've painted the chipboard with Black and Cream Acrylics. Some of the pieces have dimensional magic added as well
Using Colour Blast shimmer powders I created the background behind the chipboard. Its very glittery in real life and really helps the chipboard pop!

I hope you enjoyed my layouts for you this month.

Stay Scrappy
Amy,
