 Hello friends!
Today I will show you two projects, gift envelopes. They are really spring, multi-layered, bright! They can put a beautiful card or money.
As always, none of my work is not complete without my favorite DSP! Here I his left not painted, crude. It seemed to me that it's more harmonious whole composition.

Off the Page February Creating with Christine

Hello everyone! This month I've got two green off the page projects to share with Scrapmatts' chipboards and stencils.

First up is a display stand::

Scrapmatts Chipboards: Ornate Frames 19, Ornate Frames 21, Scrap Words 26

Scrapmatts Stencil: Leaf Spray

I painted the bottom base black and then stencilled some gorgeous spray leaves for pettern and texture.

I painted the chipboards green and layered these onto the stand.  Some Black Scrap Words are then added at the bottom.

Next up is a candle:

Scrapmatts Stencil: 9014 Tile Pattern

All you need is one Scrapmatts Stencil to give this green candle holder a special touch.  I simply stencilled around the cluster and voila!

All Scrapmatts chipboards and stencils are available to purchase HERE.  Keep your eyes peeled for more Scrapmatts team inspiration.

Good morning,

Today I share with you a layout and 3D card.

I have to say the white chipboards are my favourite to use, I love how they looks when you start shading them with inks and embellishing them with glitter.

Since we are in our last few days of Summer, I thought I would use some 49 &Market papers along with these lovely chipboards.

Shells O2

This is a 3D card I created full details of product use will be on my blog.

It was a little hard to photograph this card, however I have used the little leaf sprays from the chipboard piece below.  I have used Distress Oxide to colour them.

Wildflowers O2 Chipboard

Thats all from me this, month.  I hope you have enjoyed my projects.

See you next time!!!

Maja Men Cards

Maja Men's Cards

Hello and Welcome to February.
A big Happy Valentines to you all.
I hope you all got at least some flowers or a dinner date.
Mine was dinner for one, as my hubby works away, so we will celebrate on his return home.

I have made some male cards inspired by the Denim and Friends, Maja papers.
They had this really cool piece with these fabulous men on it.

To decorate the cards I have used the Scrapmatts black chippy.

For this card I used the oversized tie and the sentiment.

sorry for the blurry pic
This card just needed a sentiment added to it.

For this one I have used the fob watch and placed the sentiment over it.

Again I used the fob watch here with the friend sentiment.

With this card I think I will add some ribbon through the Celebrate sentiment to finish it off. I just love the large bow tie too.

Very simple cards but they look great with the black chippy.

Thanks for stopping by and please pop on over and check out all the fantastic NEW PRODUCTS in the store.

Til next time

Love and Remember

Hi everyone

I have two layouts for your today.

The first one is my Design Team layout for Scrapbooking Top 50 for February.  The inspirations was a heart shape surrounded by lots of flowers.
I have had the heart frame in my stash for a while and as soon as I saw this challenge I knew I had to use it.

As normal I started with a stencil. I altered all the chipboard pieces with Colour Blast Shimmer pots and inks.  Had lots of fun with this one.

 Stencil 9051 Hearts (A6)

 CB4033 Heart Frames 05

 CB5089 Ferns 02

 CB5092 Flowers 10

CB6117 Assorted Words 30 - butterflies and love

My second layout is for the Colour Blast February challenge.  This was an easy one - use a colour of the rainbow!  I love going out with our girls as adults.  They are wonderful company.  This was for my husband's birthday in January.

Again I started with a stencil and colour blast products. The swirl and heart are embossed with colour blast embossing powder - love all their colours.

Stencil 9029 Damask (A5)

ST1071 Hearts 04

 CB4069 Ornate Frames 26

CB6112 Scrap Words 31

I hope these layouts have inspired you to create
using the wonderful Scrapmatts products.
Until next time

Hello there!
Here we are in February already!! I hope your January was a great start to the year..
For my Blog Post I would like to share with you some cards I have made using some wonderful SCRAPMATTS products!
I was sent two new Card Templates to create with and at first I wondered how they would work.. but honestly the details are on the template and I found them easy to work out... ( if I can, I am sure anyone can!!!) There were two different styles to make..  Now I like to make cards, just the flat ones, so this was taking cards to another level!!
I began by tracing around the template and adding the lines for cutting and folding, however I traced it on the back of the paper so the marks would not show at the front. Like this.. So the back of the template was facing me on the back of my cardstock.

I then used a craft knife and a steel ruler and cut down the long line in the centre.  Then it was a matter of folding as per instructions on the template...  a mountain fold was a fold towards me and a valley fold was a fold away from me...  and my card looked like this..
Now I began to decorate the front of the card.  I used the template again for sizing the paper pieces I put on each section. It wasn't long and my first card was made..

I have used some very pretty new chipboard called Wildflowers on this card and I really love them!!
I thought it was better to have another go at making this style of card and I must admit I found it easier the second time creating..  And my second card..

and this is a side view of this card showing the folds.

The other card Template I received was different but I found it was just as easy to create. I traced the Template the same way as the first one and when the folds were in place this is what the card looked like..
And again I found some papers and some Chipboard and covered the card and embellished it until I liked the look of the card..

and a side view showing the folds..

And the second card using this Template..

Hummm I liked this but just needed a little something!!! Oh I know!!

A butterfly and those Federation Corners finished this card off for me!! And just a little idea for using every bit of your chipboard... the frame on the front of this card was lifted up using some chipboard scrap...

It added just a hint of dimension without too much bulk..

Here is a list of the Scrapmatts I have used for my cards with a link to the online shop..

CB1244 Scrap Words 30

CB5177 Wildflowers 04

CB1020 Card Borders 03

CB6036 Dress Forms 01

CB1127 Aust Federation Corners 03

I also created a layout using those wonderful new Wildflowers chipboard..  I am sure they will become a favourite of mine!! and yours too!!

some closer views showing some details..

I embossed the chipboard in white and added pops of pink liquid pearls!

The Butterfly is embossed in a pink glitter..

I also filled in the flowers by tracing around the chipboard and cutting out the pink paper and I glued this onto the back of the flower part of the chipboard for something different!

And the Title is a new chipboard piece too!!

Pretty as a Flower.

And here is a list of the Scrapmatts I have used on this layout..
