C.S.I. Color Stories Inspiration and SCRAPMATTS!

Hello there,
thanks for joining us for our June Blog Posts where we share our creations using wonderful SCRAPMATTS products.

For my post this month I am sharing the layouts I have created for the Color, Stories, Inspiration C.S.I. Challenges where Scrapmatts have been a sponsor and the Design Team were invited to join in with the challenges. For the challenge #254 which was for May 15th I took my inspiration for this challenge by the C.S.I. challenge photo and also because May was 'get caught reading month'. Now my daughter loves to read and I was able to sneak this photo of her reading a book sitting out in the sunshine and I used that.

Some stencilling on the back ground and I just had to use that Scrapmatts word painted with black gesso as my Daughter just enjoys a good book!

I love these swirly chippies and chain frame..

Popped a cute little heart in there!

The second layout I am sharing is another layout I created for the C.S.I. CHALLENGE #255 and this layout was using the criteria to document about a food, and also by June 1st which is World Doughnut day! I have used two photos of when my Daughter had a doughnut cake for her birthday one year!!

June Creations with Tania

Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share a couple of projects I created for this month using lots of gorgeous Scrapmatts goodies.! First up I have a layout to share......

"Magic Memories"

I decided to keep the background on this page quite simple seeing the paper was so pretty, so I only altered it by adding a little colour through the patterns stencil. I also used the gorgeous Scrapmatts leafy sprays on this page, just love these and altered them using some glitter texture paste. I also altered a couple of the arrows from the Assorted Words 23 using the same texture paste. Finished off my page with lots of yummy flowers...........

Here's a few close ups.....

My second share is a mini canvas using one of my favourite Scrapmatts Chipboard collections the Wildflower range.

"Happy"

I decided I wanted to create a nice vibrant background for my canvas, so I first added some texture using the Patterns stencil. I then added my colour. I altered my chipboard using some Dylusions Shimmer Spray, so the chipboard had a little sparkle to it. Coloured the butterflies and my title also in the shimmer sprays and finished on the page with some blooms and mini prills for a touch of added texture.
