Summer Scrapping and Card Making

I can almost taste summer in the air now!

Here in Australia the weather is warming up and we are coming out of the wettest winter I can remember. Every time I sit down now to scrapbook or make cards, I must confess I just have summer on my mind lol ๐Ÿ˜Š

So here are the projects I'm sharing this month -
all bright and reminiscent of warmer weather and long lazy summer days ๐Ÿ’›

 ๐Ÿ’› This Moment

Created with papers from Bee Arty's Limited Edition collection and
Scrapmatts Chipboards, Stencils, titles and Bling.

I have coloured this title (CT058) with a black sharpie and a yellow distress marker

These Scrap Words 21(CB 6103) can be easily added to any layout, bringing context and meaning without the worry of having to add actual journaling.

This awesome Webbing Stencil (ST5029) creates a gorgeous effect on the page.

.
The trick is to put the stencil on the page and build up lines using ink that is a similar colour to your base paper (in this case it was blue) after that add a darker colour over the top that runs to the edge so that you achieve a striking transition of the stencil image.

This Diamond Mesh 02 (CB5126) & 03 (CB5127) chipboard was the perfect shade to begin with so I left it alone for this layout ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ’™ Forever Friends ๐Ÿ’™

To include a touch of movement to this layout I added these gorgeous Flourishes and Leaves Chipboards (CB5189), that I painted in blue and hit with Crystalina Kindy Glitz.

This layout also includes the following hero products:

Chipboard Title 'Forever Friends'  - CT051

Another cute Scrap Word addition - CB6112

The addition of that marvellous and versatile little Heart Stencil - ST9050

๐Ÿงก Unicorn Step-card ๐Ÿงก

Of course you cannot go wrong with the addition of clusters of bling on any project!
For this card I used 4 & 5 mm Peal and Stick Bling

I also added extra action with the ST9071 - A5 Circles Stencil

And of course a chippy from one of my favourite
scrap word title sets: CB1270 - Scrap Words 5

Are you scrapping summer yet?? ... surely it wont be long? ๐Ÿ˜œ

Thanks for popping in for look.

Cheers from Kel ๐Ÿ’š

Making Memories

Good morning Recently I went looking for baby/toddler photos of my hubby and I, and this photo of me just a tad younger than I am now, looked great with this paper. The quality of the photo does show my age, even though I had it professionally copied and some restoration work done. This paper range was perfect for me as I got to do lots of fussy cutting and layering I have used both a white and a gold texture paste on the background with the stencils the chipboard leaves were sprayed with a white spray. The chipboard title I've sprayed with a burgandy spray then covered with glossy accents

Family Time

Hi everyone

Lisette here with my layouts for September.  I was lucky enough to be at a Scrapbooking Retreat last week.  I created the two layouts with some of the new Scrapmatts products. Stay tuned for some more examples over the next few months!

My first layout is from one of my favourite spots.  Mum and Dad live a couple of hours up the coast from Sydney.  When we visit I can sit and watch the beach from this spot for ages!

Products Used:-

ST5049 - Stencil Lattice

CT064 - Love this view

CB1068 - Hearts 01

CB1146 - Leaf Spray 01

CB1236 - ScrapWords 22

It was so good to get out of the house, with the family, once things started opening up in Sydney, in May, after lockdown.  Fingers crossed for those in Melbourne, that you will have this opportunity soon!  We 'escaped' for breakfast.

Products Used:-

ST5030 - Stencil Flowers

CB1277 - Scrap Words 61
Covid 19

CB5176 Wildflowers 03

CB5189 - Flourishes & Leaves 01

Hopefully by my next post in October, everyone has had an opportunity to get out and about to enjoy the warmer weather.  Look forward to seeing how you use these fabulous Scrapmatts products.

Until then, happy creating.

Living in the Moment

Good morning how are you? Rikki here with two completely different layouts again.... one is all about the rainbow of mixed media goodness and the second is all about the simple, layered graphic layout. One is bright and one is pastel this month is all about opposites...

This really sums up how I have been scrapping lately, the need to constantly change things up.... do you do that too?
