Scrapbook layouts by Kelly-ann

Good Morning All...

What an absolute pleasure it is to be here on the Scrapmatts Blog today.

Now that the chaos of the silly season is behind me I've finally had the chance to sit down and create with these divinely detailed chipboards ...

Be still my beating heart ... or heart shaped template as the case may be!!

To create the embellishments on this page I have teamed up two gorgeous sets...

Image result for CB6117 Assorted Words 03
CB5178 - Wildflowers 05 and  CB6117 Assorted Words 03

As well as playing in the background with this divinely simple heart template...

Add some simple colours with inks...

I used a white pen and the heart template to create the background, smudging a few of the hearts as I went to give them a solid look.

Another layout done recently used the gorgeous dream catcher set...

CB5186 Dreamcatcher 01

Again I used simple inks to colour the chipboard and then added just a bit of Crystalina Kind Glitz to give it a bit of sparkle :)

A6 Stencil - Diamonds 9070

And just a bit of cotton to add some dimension and extra detail to the dream catcher...

Thanks for popping by for a look.

Cheers from Kel

Happy Australia Day 2019!

Happy Australia Day everyone!  I can't believe that we are almost at the end of January already.

I haven't done much scrapping at all recently so I only have one layout to share today.

October 2018 we went to Sculptures By the Sea at Bondi (as well as lots and lots and lots of other people).  I love all the sculptures but in my opinion the star of the show was Mother Nature.  Kraft+ challenge blog's challenge for January was and indigenous theme.  I immediately thought of these pictures.

Products used:-

  ST5007 Stencil Stones

 ST9003 Stencil Circles A6

CB5139 String Circles 03

CB1159 Hearts 05

I was lucky enough to be given a couple of products that haven't made it to the shop as yet.  The corrugated shapes are fun to use and will be available soon - look out for them.

I am going to a Scrapbooking Retreat in a couple of weekends so will have lots of layouts to share next month.

Until then, enjoy your Australia day.
Hopefully you will have some time to be creative, I know I am hoping too!

Love Blooms Here in the New Year!!!

Love Blooms Here in the New Year.

Happy New Year and Welcome to 2019.

I hope your new year has started off with lots of creative juices flowing.
Today I wish to share with you 2 layouts I have created with some beautiful Scrapmatts chipboard.
The first layout I have created is Love Blooms Here.
I have used the gorgeous Stargazer papers from Kaisercraft.

To create the layers I have ripped and torn the papers and used the very fine vines from the
Ornate Frames chipboard.
To colour the chippy I have used the Wink of Stella Black glitter pen.
The chipboard title is one of Scrapmatts new word titles. How cute is it?

Here is the products used on this layout

**********************************************

Now for my second layout.

This layout was based on a sketch from Dusty Attic.

This layout features logs of gears and cogs from Scrapmatts.
To colour them I used a combination of inks and rust paste.
Papers are from Stamperia called Clockwise.
Embellishments are from Kaisercraft factory 42 collection, which complimented these papers perfectly.

Below is the chipboard used on this layout.

CB1072

I cut these pieces up to give me more gears.

With this piece I have ripped it up to create the border down the sides.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my projects.

Please leave some love below or on our social media

You can find more of my designs at

Til next month

DreamCatcher by Heather

Good morning all

Happy new year. I hope that you have all had a very merry Christmas and a safe and fun new year.

The first project below is something that I have been wanting to try for a while, so when I got the Scrapmatts Dream Catcher chipboard I gave it a go. It turned out differently to what I had envisaged, but I am still happy with it.

To make the card I drew the colour inspiration from my altered dream catcher. There are layers of paper/cardstock, Scrapmatts stencils with white gesso, pearl flourish, tulle, art stones, flowers, lace, muslin, and of course the Scrapmatts chipboard feathers

The products that I used are:

CB5186 Dreamcatcher 01 8 Pieces

CB1222 Feathers 02

CB6100 Words 29

ST9050-A5 Stencil Hearts

ST9072-A5 Plus Signs
