Creating Memories

Hi Fi here today, sharing with a page I created using a snapchat picture of my Grandad.

I'm sure when you get to the ripe old age of 93 you've seen so many changes and things you never thought possible have become possible.  Whilst over in Perth last Christmas I spent a week catching up with him, reminiscing and just enjoying the family company.  We thought it would be fun to get a few of these new modern snaps, he thought it was pretty funny as well.

I've used a mix of Mintay and 13 Arts on this layout, loads of fussy cutting and layering.

Last week I was able to catch up with the lovely Sofia, Andrew and Crece up and Craft Alive in Toowoomba as well as restock my Scrapmatts Chippies.  I have to say I nearly missed grabbing these new titles thankfully Crece pointed them out.  Loving These Memories title worked perfectly on this page for me.  I did use a stencil as well but unfortunately it ended up being covered up.

I have inked the title with two different colours of distress ink.

Click on the picture below and it will take you to all the beautiful titles that are now available.

See you next month, happy scrapping.

Three Ningaloo layouts

Hi everyone, Lisette here with three layouts.

In May this year I had the most amazing week away at Ningaloo Reef, in Western Australia.  I really stepped outside my comfort zone for the week.  We camped, kyacked, snorkeled, hiked and swam with the Whale Sharks.  All with a great group of women and two amazing leaders.  It was Awesome!

You will notice a theme with these layouts.  I just love using craft cardstock, sprays and this stencil - ST9064.  I have the A4 and A5 and use it all the time!

Off we go on our adventure:-

Products used:-

The night sky was so clear, with so many stars.  One night Olivia just wanted to sit in the open and stargaze, a couple of us joined her and Chris to this amazing photo!

Products Used:-

CB1253 ScrapWords 36

CB1197 Scrap Words 5

CB6105 Assorted Words 23

I just love this layout. Another simple one but very effective.  We hiked to the top of the ridge to watch the sunset over the water.  Love the light in this photo.  I haven't used the stencil in this one, but have used sprays!

Products used:-

CB6110 Ornate Frames 25

CB1251 Scrap Words 34

Hope you have enjoyed seeing my layouts.  I think they show that you don't have to use lots and lots of Scrapmatts products to add something special to your layouts.  Just love these products.

Until next month - wow can't believe it will be October,

Happy Scrapping.

Australiana with Heather

Hi all
This month I tried an Australiana themed page inspired by these photos that I came across on Anzac Day.
I kept the layout simple as wanted to make sure that the photos were the main focus followed by the chipboard.
For the chipboard I used my Distress Crayons and Crackle Glaze to finish the leaves and title. The hinges are also done with Distress Crayons but finishes with Prima wax.

I have also used the Scrapmatts brick A4 stencil with texture paste mixed with paint

Selfie Fun...

Spring is finally here and the very first thing my kids did on their first weekend of the new season was try out their new swim suits at the beach...
...was it still cold? YES
...did they care? NO
Lol 😆
As it turns out Spring is more of an attitude than an actual thing ... apparently all you need is Spring in your heart and none of the other details matter.
This is why I love kids so much 💕 - mind you, I still went to the same beach dressed in long sleeves, long pants, an over shawl and a scarf ( I was accused of being melodramatic of course)!

These spring layouts were a delight to make...from the lovely Scrapmatts chip boards and the ‘Michelle Grant Designs’ papers to the audacious selfie photos my daughter generously supplied me with on my phone while I wasn’t looking!

I hope they inspire you with your spring scrapping as well 😁👍

I embossed the chipboard with some think gold crystals to give it a really chunky look, which worked perfectly with this gorgeous paper.

Here Comes Trouble
What an awesome saying ...lol... I love this chipboard title ( and need 25 more of them based on the content of most of my photos)! The flowers are from a couple of different packs of 'Easy 3D toppers'.
Made using the following chipboards...

I make sure there was some Crystalina kindy Glitz on these chipboards too...

And just to finish up with I've used my left overs to create this vibrant step card, including the very cute chipboard title from the CB1258- Scrap Word 41 set.

And thats everything from me today... Happy Spring folks ...
may the water be just the right temperature for you wherever you are xo

Cheers from Kel
