Captured Moments

Hi & Welcome

Well the months a flying by fast, don't blink, we all know what time of year it will be again.

Today I'm sharing with you a double page layout I recently created and taught to a group of ladies.

I have combined the Kaiser Craft Lilac Whisper Collection with a really old background paper I had in my stash.  I love combining old products with new to help use items we have in our stash.  I added one of the new titles Scrapmatts have been creating "Captured Moments" along with a older product a Leaf Spray.    The title was embossed with some beautiful chunky glitter embossing powder and the leaf spray I've just inked.

You can find these products below by clicking on the pictures this will then take you to the shopping page.

Thanks for stopping by and I will see you next month with another share.

By for now!!!

October Layouts by Lisette

Hi everyone, Lisette here with some Scrapmatts inspiration for October.

My first layout is for the September Kraft+ Challenge.  It was one of my favourite colour combos - Kraft, Red, Black & White.  It is not often that you see Waratah's in full bloom in the bush.  We were lucky enough to see some on a recent hike.  These fit perfectly with this challenge!

  ST9067 - Circles

 CB4071 - String Circles 07

  CB1197 Scrapwords 05

 CB1192 Scrapwords 04

My second layout is another one from my Ningaloo Trip.  This one is for the 123 Challenge.

 ST9003 Circles - I used both the A4 & A6

CB5128 Circle Mesh

 CB1251 Scrapwords 31

CB6118 Boho 01

I hope my layouts have inspired you to create with Scrapmatts products.
 I love them!

Until next month, wow can't believe that will be November!
Happy Creating

Snapshot Moments

Snapshot Moments

Hello Scrapmatters

Today I join you to share my DT piece for the month.
Snapshot Moments.

On a recent trip to Spotlight I found this fantastic paper pad by Vicki Boutin.

It had the most amazing watercolour backgrounds.
The front cover is acetate, so I cut elements from it to use on my page.
To colour the chipboard I have used a Wink of Stella Black glitter pen, this is my favourite way to colour my chipboard.
Super easy.

Unique......

Good morning how are you? Rikki here to share with you a couple more pieces that I did for demos when Scrapmatts joined us of my side of the country here in Western Australia. It was awesome fun to play with so many pieces of chipboard and the NEW Finnabar wax colours which made it easy work to have fun with.

CB5186 Dreamcatcher 01

So as you can see I have used the NEW Colours  on a black based background in the piece above, the one below is on a white base as you can see the new range of waxes show up on white with amazing vibrancy.

My Vietnam Trip

Hi all
This month I have done a series of 3 layouts and used some photos from my trip to Vietnam last year

Each layout has some basic mixed media using stencils, texture paste, wax paint, crackle paste

The chipboard is finished using pinecone ink and some also have glossy accents

The products I have used are:

Thanks for having a look at my layouts.
If you have any questions about the layouts or techniques used, please feel free to add a comment at the bottom

Happy Days

With Summer rolling around I'm very happy report that Happy Days are in fact plentiful again! lol I love summer and the long sunny days that it brings.

My husband and I were off for a date at the beach the first spring weekend we got the chance ... these layouts of the day have been made using some light airy papers and some playful, fun chipboards.

I just adore the Scrapmatts hexagon chippies as they are so versatile and adaptive ... that includes both the inside and outside bits. 🙂

Here I've used the CT0030 chipboard title 'Happy Days'. I've also used some Walnut Stain distress ink to create a variegated colour look ... this is by far my favourite technique for colouring chipboard and I find myself coming back to this technique over and over 😁

And once again I've used the flying birds template ( ST9020 - A6) on this page. This is by far the most used template in my stash ... any outdoor beachy page ends up with these gorgeous birds on it.

and for my second layout...

Here I've used the  Captured Moments Title CT033 and variegated the colour using ink again.

I also used the inside and outside of this
groovy hexagon (CB5124) chipboard set.

Then I finished off the page with a few elements from this awesome little Australian collection...

The left over bits from this scrapping session will end up on future pages and cards of course, but thats a story for another day...

Thanks for popping by the blog for a look.
I hope you have a ball creating and scrapping your own summer memories.

Cheers from Kel
