A Little Scrapmatts

Today I have two projects to share and they were both fun to make.

Christmas is approaching fast and I thought I would start my christmas mojo

off with a tag project.

It was a great to get into the christmas spirit for a little while and use some wonderful new 

Scrapmatts releases.

The chip board packs that are used on this project were :

My next creation was done with Graphic 45 French country collection.

 I incorporated some great Scrapmatts on the front cover. It is a little organiser folder with a note pad to jot down those important events and ideas.

It has pockets to store those important notes and receipts.

The packs I used on the cover were as follows:

Spring has SPRUNG!

Hello Scrapmatts fans! 

I am super happy that we are now in my favourite season  SPRING! 

Here are some of my new creations using Scrapmatts chippies :)

Love Your Smiling Eyes

 On this layout I have used: CB4060 Ornate Frames 17 which I have coloured black and snipped in half to make my chippies go further. I have also used: CB1189 Scrapwords 01 and the W from the CB6084 Alphabet Flags 01. 

Next up is a cute colourful card I made for a challenge but never got around to posting it!!

Rainbow Bird Card

On this card I have used: CB5045 Birds 04 and dipped them randomly in dylusions ink sprayed onto a mat. 

Lastly here's a quick messy layout I completed:

Today

 on this one I have used:CB6092 Ornate Frame 20 Which I gessoed and then randomly painted with Sparkling H2O's, CB1190 Scrapwords 02 and CB1200 Scrapwords 08 to draw attention to the centre of the layout and the pics. Lastly I have added in a few of my FAV Scrapmatts chippy - CB5082 Leaf Spray 02 in behind the flowers.

Scrapmatts combining with Stuck Sketches

Hi Everyone.  Anne back again to share some exciting news.  Scrapmatts is sponsoring the challenge over at Stuck Sketches this month and as one of the Design Team we were encouraged to participate.

Here is my take on the sketch.

  I have incorporated some Cute Cupcakes and a Decorative Frame into my design.

  Some of the other DT will be sharing their takes with you throughout the month I am sure.

Then I have created this Layout as a just for fun creation.

love layering butterflies on top of the stitched butterflies.  

Then I have used a flourish in my cluster alongside the picture.  The flourish was originally in natural, however, I quickly inked it black to make it coordinate with the butterflies.

A few projects

Hi there! I'd like to share some works made with Scrapmatts chippies. First I'd like to show you a mixed media canvas with a gorgeous chipboard star. I did lots of painting, inking and stamping and it was really fun.

I used CB1180 Snowflakes 03 and CB5119 Hanging Stars 02  

I also want to share this christmas card. I loved that frame since the first time I saw it, so I decided to use it as focal point with the image.

I used CB6092 Ornate Frame 20 and CB1225 Pine Sprig 01  

Friendship Tags!

Hello and welcome bloggers! Today  I'm back.......Geraldine here to share with you two tag  projects using some stunning Scrapmatts ~Tags, metal and chipboard.

I decided to play and create  these 'shabby Vintage tags which are perfect to put on top of a gift for a special friend or even turn into a card. When creating in that shabby style  I love using the soft, feminine  & beautiful colours.

Fall Means Back to School!!

Hi everyone...Sandi back with you to share some more projects using some gorgeous Scrapmatts Goodies.

Fall always comes to mind whenever I think about "Back to School" and I just love the beautiful colors of Autumn. So I decided to put those colors to good use on an altered clipboard and added a little inspirational quote to get the kids back into the study mode!

Here are a few closeups...

I finished it off with a hemp bow, an old paintbrush, a little gesso and a few splatters of mist!

The twigs you see in my flower cluster are the CB5056 Twigs 02 from Scrapmatts. 
I seem to use those on every project!!

Next up is a layout of my sweet girl and her first day of school last year. It will only be a couple of weeks and I will be taking another of those photos....time goes so fast!

 I left all the chipboard in there original White Mist finish except for the frame which I gave a light coat of gesso.

Spread Your Wings

I once again left the chippies in the White mist finish because I just LOVE this look!

I cut the rose flourish in pieces and tucked in amongst the flower cluster.
