Big Birthday Celebration Layouts

Hi everyone

Today I would like to share with you two layouts from my fabulous birthday lunch.  In August I turned the big 50. I didn't want a party but wanted to have a special lunch with my family.  My daughter now lives interstate so wanted her & her partner there to celebrate.  So on the Long Weekend in October we had a lovely family lunch at a very posh restaurant.  And you still have to get photos (we weren't the only ones!)

The first layout I did for a challenge. You had to use Black & Gold with one other colour - I chose Orange, it matched my dress!

To start this layout I used Gold texture paste through this stencil - love how it pops on the black cardstock.

ST5024 - Stencil Tile Pattern

I have then used lots of chipboard which I have inked in Brilliance Dew Drop Gold Ink available in the shop.

CB1241 Scrap Words 27

CB6105 Assorted Words 23

CB1209 Scrap Words 12

CB5092 - Flowers 10 (layered)

CB6109 - Lamps 11

My 2nd layout is also from our lunch.  I created this one for the current challenge at Show Us Your Stuff.

Again I started off using a stencil with some texture paste ST1028 - Stencil Flowers

Again I have inked the chipboard.

CB1003 - Flourishes 04

CB1229 - Chains 04

CB1060 - Ornate Frames 17

CB6112 - Scrap Words 31

CB1134 - Assorted Words 01

I hope these layouts have inspired you. I know I had a lot of fun creating them.

I know this is a very busy time of year, but hopefully you can take some time for yourself
and do something creative.

I wish you all a very happy and safe Christmas.
