Step cards are my all time favourite card designs and these Montage Creations Panels are just perfect for the classic 4x3" front of step cards.

As you can see all you need are some papers for the side and base and a few embellishments to really make these cards pop.

Glitter pens worked straight onto the chipboard sentiments works beautifully!

These central panels are the key elements to step cards. 

I often just use off cuts and spare paper for the sides and bases.
