October inspiration with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Scrapmatts October inspiration.
Today it's all about tags.
I made one single fancy and colorful chipboard tag and then made two more fancy tags in a totally different shabby style.
So here is the first tag and it's all about a Wish upon the stars.

The background was made with a few of our Scrapmatts stencils using texture paste and when it was dry it was misted and painted all over so you can see the outlines of the small stars and dots, but not the whole background.
Then the large circles chipboard and some of the stars were painted with yellow and gold acrylic paint  and some more Scrapmatts pieces were painted with a mix of blues.

The chipboard word Wish was painted with Magenta  paint and a lot of the same paint splashes were added over the piece.
As my final textured embellishments I added a mix of seed beads inside the chipboard pieces.

And this is my second project for today: a couple of very similar, but yet different tags made in a totally different shabby pastel style.

As you can see both tags have this background made with Scrapmatts stencils and texture paste and then they were misted with a mix of different mists.
Then the chipboards were also painted and I added some gold wax over them  to make them pop from the tags.
Clear glaze was then added over the painted pieces and you can see it on the larger photos.
Both tags were embellished with the similar flowers clusters and the similar stamped and die cut words.

September inspiration with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my September Scrapmatts inspiration!
Lately I am in this Mixed Media mood and scrapbooking is not my favorite part of crafting. So no scrapbooking layouts this time, but two different Mixed Media projects only.
Both project were made with a wide selection of Scrapmatts chipboards and stencils.
The first project is an art journal page made in my favorite Steampunk style.
This is a A4 size thick cardstock and to make it durable for all mediums I covered it first with white gesso.
When dry I used  three Scrapmatts stencils to make the texture with texture paste: Paint drips A6 size, Rope A5 size and Alphabet.
Then I added a wide range of painted and heat embossed chipboard pieces (the list is at the end of this project ).
In between I added some stamping inside the Steampunk window frame and over  it.

Here are some close- ups to this art page:

My second project for today is an altered $store plastic shadow box that was latered to this mermaid/nautical look using a lot of mediums and paints together with Scrapmatts gorgeous stencils and chipboards.
I used Rope stencil with crackle paste  over the outter frame and added Net stencil around the stamped medmaid image inside the box. The inside stenciiled part was heat embossed with light blue glitter powder.
The inside was also embellished with a few nautical chipboards painted with acrylics or glitter glue covered.

August inspiration with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my July inspirational post.
Today I am going to share a double pocket scrapbooking page, a card and a tag all made in totally different styles, but each an every one has Scrapmatts gorgeous products all over.
The first project  is  totally different one  for me: Pocket scrapbooking double page spread.
I am not a big fan of Project Life kind of scrapbooking as this is totally flat kind of crafting.
But as  always try to make something different as much as I can I decided to make double page with 8*8'' pockets and I really love the result and the easy life of such kind of crafting.
So here are both pages made with new Natures spirit Scrapberry's collection.
The only thing that was added to those pages other than paper and some metal pieces were Scrapmatts chipboards as I had to add some interest to those so flat pockets and those chippies are just the perfect add- on to flat pages.

Here is the first side of the double pager:

And this is the second side of it and I am sorry for the pretty bad photos , but it's totally impossible the get great photos inside the plastic pockets.

And now for some close- ups to the parts of the layouts.
As you can see I added a lot of Scrapberry's charms to the project as they are gorgeous and still flat pieces.

And here is my recycling trick: use the collection name as a part of your project.
Nature spirit is just the collection name I cut and used over the photo title.

Metal flairs are also very good embellishments for flat pocket pages.

Some resin pieces can be added to the pages if those are flat piece.

Grass 02 CB5100
Assorted words 02 CB1136

As my second project I made a set of 4 ATC grungy/Steampunk cards.
ATC cards are fun and I really love to make them.
So those  small grungy cards I made with delicious Scrapmatts stencils and chipboards.

Backgrounds were made with texture paste, stencils (Scrapmatts), embossing powders, stamping (BoBunny), heat embossing and misting. You can see the full Scrapmatts product list at the end of this post.
Then I added chipboards (Scrapmatts) painted with acylics (Pentart) and clay casted pieces. Everything was painted again over and over with Pentart paints. Crackle paste was added over some pieces and Scrapmatts words were glued to make it count as real ATC cards.
Here are all ATC shown one by one. Each and every ATC card got the chipboard Scrapmatts saying to make it full of meaning.

July inspiration with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I want to share two of my new  projects made with our gorgeous Scrapmatts products.
The first is this lovely scrapbooking page that I call " Captured blessed moments".

I scrapped my adorable grand kids again (as always) and made this as quite a clean, with a lot of white space, layout.
I used Kaisercrafts collections as the paper base and most of my embellishments and added a lot of Scrapmatts chipboards as my only other embellishments.
The chipboard were painted with black acrylic paint , same as the chipboard title words and combined with colorful paper die cuts to make a few of clusters around the photo.

Here are some close- ups to the different  spots of this page:

I also added some stencilled texture over the " white spaces" of this page- hardly seen as it's pearled white paste on almost white cardstock.

My second project today is a fancy colorful tag .

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new post!
This is a tag made with Scrapmatts stencils and chipboards and Papericious paper collection.
It's a kind of encouragement tag and I made the double sentiment saying : Go and find yourself and then fly away".

Both sentiment parts are arranged over the Scrapmatts chipboard pieces made with cardstock and stickers.
Chipboards were painted with Prima Spark and Metallic paints.
I used two stencils for the textured background, but only the lower one is still seen.

June inspiration with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends! Welcome to my June Scrapmatts inspiration.
  Hello my dear crafty friends!
Welcome to my first Scrapmatts project for June.
I always try to make a large project and a couple of smaller ones.
So 12*12'' layout is mostly a MUST and this is my layout for today.
I still continue to scrap my second daughter's wedding day (it will take forever...) and this is her photo with her beloved 3 years old niece.
I used Kaisercrafts paper collection for this page and added quite a few Scrapmatts chipboards as my only other embellishments and used just one chipboard package, but the HUGE ONE: String Circles 06 Roses CB4070

Each chipboard piece was painted with DecoArt paints and then I added quite a thick layer of DecoArt
Crackle glaze over the dry paint.

Some darker paint was added into the dry cracks and you can see the fantastic result on this big rose here:

I also added some clear glitter circles using Scrapmatts 9007 Circles stencil, but it's hard to see on the photo.
You can see a bot of the glitter circles here on this close- up:

Another look at the painted chipboards:

My  second piece is this new  card made with a lot of Scrapmatts chipboards in a very nice pastel colors.
This can be a card for a new home or just the general card with Best Wishes sentiment.
I used Scrapberry's cardstock for the background and then added Scrapmatts frame that was painted with light shabby green paint.
Two housed were painted with more of the shabby paint colors and added over the basic cardstock.
Then each house got a sign: one got this Home arrow sign and the second got the sentiment on the top.
Some flowers were added for the texture and the interest.

And the side view of the card:

And here are a few close- ups to the card:

The last project for today is a  fancy bright altered tag was made with texture background made with Scrapmatts stencil and texture paste and them painted over with liquid acrylic paints.
Each chipboard piece was painted with black acrylic paint and glued over the tag.
The sentiment is from Prickley Pear Rubber stamps.

Let me show you the texture from the side of the tag:
